UPDATE 2022: I have the honor of serving on the Bicycle Pedestrian Committee (BPAC) that advocates for a healthy lifestyle and connectivity by way of sidewalks and bike lanes. Since 2013, BPAC has aided in acquiring $9 million in grant funding that helped bring the Belinda Pkwy. sidewalks. When the right grants become available, I have made sure that Phase 2 of these sidewalks are considered. So far we are waiting on the right grant. One grant did become available in the fall, but BPAC and BOC voted by majority vote to apply for it, to go toward the next phase of the Cedar Creek Greenway.

I have blueprints of the Belinda Parkway sidewalk project, better known as “Belinda Parkway Pedestrian Connector.” The project is scheduled to be completed February 28, 2020. There are no current action plans to extend any further down Belinda toward the east because of lack of funding. Click on image to download PDF (9.2 mb).
