1st Annual Celebrate Mt. Juliet Day

Mt. Juliet’s 1st Annual “Celebrate Mt. Juliet Day” brought the musical group Little Texas to town giving citizens a FREE concert, which was opened by Mt. Juliet’s own Cedar Creek Band. Among the activities was an Antique Car Show, Cornhole Tournament and our very own Mt. Juliet BPAC’s Walk, Run, and Roll. The event was held on Saturday, September 14th and it was my first public event opportunity to set up a booth and meet new people in the community. Former commissioner Brian Abston and myself got to draw/announce the winner of the Charlie Daniels fiddle as well as give out trophies to the winners of the car show. Dolores Mackey was the lucky winner of the $25 Longhorn gift card drawing. I look forward to next year’s event.
