What the law says about donations/contributions to political campaigns:

The limit (checks/credit cards) for an individual amount is $1,500 per person, per election and $3,000 per couple. The limit for a registered PAC in Tennessee is $7,400 per election. PACs are not allowed to give cash. According to the State Election Laws, you are required to report a name, address, occupation, and employer for contributions aggregating in excess of $100 per election. Again, financial donations/contributions to my campaign are NOT tax-deductible.

For cash donations/contributions, there is a $50 limit per person, per election. There will be opportunities in the community to give a cash donation; at public park events, meet-and-greets, town hall meeting(s), fundraising event(s), etc. Please note: I am required to collect your name and contact information for all cash donations.
