** TOWN HALL Meeting – November 4, 2021 **
I held a town hall meeting for City District 4 (south of I-40) regarding CURRENT and FUTURE GROWTH of our district, as well as the REDISTRICTING of voting/commission districts in the city.

Also in attendance was the Developer, Andrew Mazey and Engineer, Joe Haddix who shared information about their industrial project Beckwith Point, located on 75 acres south of I-40, behind Belinda City, that will connect Belinda Pkwy. (across from Meadowview Drive) to Beckwith Road (Wilfong Drive). The initial plan had already been approved by the MJ Planning Commission.

I included other potential future projects to come within District 4 city limits, including a submitted plan for high density multi-family development on 7+ acres behind Zaxby’s and next to Providence Publix. I do not support this project because the density is too high for this small piece of land which is 120 townhome units for sale. (UPDATE: Project was pulled by developer).
